Our day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. To help your little one prepare for a longer school day, we offer an optional extended-day enrichment session that includes lunch and additional activities through 1:45 p.m. Our four-year-old program is five days a week, our three-year-old program is available three, four or five days, and our two-year-old program is three days.                   We are currently accepting applications for enrollment. Throughout our school days, children engage in activities which provide foundations for reading, writing, science, math and creative arts through play and socialization.           North Greenwich Nursery School is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization. Our programs are designed to be inclusive of all children. We admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at school.       With a combined 109 years of professional experience NGNS teachers and assistant teachers have extensive backgrounds in early childhood education. However, it takes more than experience to teach at NGNS; our teachers consider the children family, providing a supportive, nurturing environment and making sure all of your child’s developmental and educational needs are met.       Located in a park-like setting in the “back country” neighborhood of Greenwich (but only minutes from Armonk, Purchase, Rye Brook and Port Chester), NGNS has a spacious, safe, well-equipped indoor and outdoor playground. The school building itself is surrounded by trees and lush green lawns, and is adjacent to an equestrian farm.
